Band to release debut album

Stonesthrow will embark on the recording of their highly anticipated debut album early in 2009 with a provisional release date in March 2009. The band will follow the release with a European tour. Dates and further details will be announced shortly. |
Band hit one million MySpace plays!

Stonesthrow and Channel 4 unite

Stonesthrow have again been headhunted by Channel 4 to use the band's songs for the soundtrack of the top extreme sports programme 'Freesports On 4' during 2008. The band enjoyed a successful relationship with the programme's producers during the 2006/2007 season and look forward to another excellent series this year. |
Stonesthrow release second single

Stonesthrow's second single 'Drifting Away' is released on the 5th of November 2007. The single is available from all major e-stores including iTunes and Napster.

Stonesthrow Play Strathclyde Park

Stonesthrow are set to perform live for Guy Fawkes weekend at Strathclyde Park in Lanarkshire.
The night is being hosted by Lanarkshire's L107 FM Radio.
The show will be on Monday, 5th November 2007 and all entry is free. Stonesthrow will open the show before the annual fire-works display. The event is expected to see over 70,000 people and will be broadcast live L107 FM. To tune in go to:

Band Return from Atomic Studios
Stonesthrow have returned from London's Atomic Studios with brand new recordings. The songs were produced with the Leppanen brothers of The Animal Farm. These new tracks are now available to preview here and on the bands MySpace.

The Cavern Club Liverpool

played the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, birthplace of the Beatles
on Saturday the 30th of April 2005. It was a great night for the guys and
their fans and they will be returning there at the end of the year. Details

Band record at Atomic Studios London
Stonesthrow are recording their new 3 track EP in London, at the prestigious Atomic Studios. Helped by the production team of Mat and Velle Leppanenen of The Animal Farm.

The studio has recorded artists such as Moloko, Jeff Beck, Alabama 3, All Saints & Snowdogs. The songs chosen to record will be ‘Want You To Know’, ‘Sharks (In The High Chair)’ and ‘Don’t Look Down’; these recordings and more can be previewed on our media player above.
